Thunder in the Mountains and FetishCon were both fantastic events. One in Denver and the other in Tampa makes for a lot of traveling.
Try and pack your corsets in a larger than normal space. You really do no want to bend or shove your corset into a space too small for it. Remove it as soon as possible. Often baggage storage is hot and humid… Not good for the corset. Store by the laces in a cool dark space.
If it is a bit damp when you take it off… spritz the air with 25% denatured Alkehol and 75% water. Pass the inside of your corset through the mist. Hang over a chair inside out. It will dry fresh as a daisy.
Take your Beauties out and show them off…
A corset bag is a good thing to store and pack your corsets in. I am going to have them available next month for a nominal charge.
I love Vending at home. Right here in Atlanta. June 10th we started out set up. SELF is special because I was given a shot at vending there when I was brand new to the business. It is run by good people and attended by some of the best people anywhere. I am grateful for that leap of faith and want to continue the pay back as long as they will have me. I had a ball. We were able to move the store in the night before. This is a real luxury. When I have to set up a complete store and then open for sales it makes for a really long day. I had a whole village of helpers. We were set by 10:00.
SKIRTS: I debuted 3 new styles of skirts. Women loved them. They will be up on the site by next week. I almost sold out. I love watching the ladies twirl like little girls. These skirts are circle skirts and so full it is easy to feel like a princess. The one pictured is called the Wedding Cake Skirt because of the layers and layers of organza ruffles.

My new assistant was there with me all weekend. I wanted her to see the whole picture. When I travel there is no running home for this, that or the other. I think she has a whole new appreciation of the physical nature of lacing 20 to 30 people into corsets in a 6 hour period with an audience. We had a great time. I know that when I head out to Denver I will be well stocked and ready to show the WILD WEST what I have to offer.
