AMBIENT SHOOTOUT
Mark your calendars!!!!!!! MARCH 5 AFPME Art Show (More to come)
LEATHER CORSETS, SILK CORSETS, BEAUTIFUL WOMEN AND …..
Yesterday was a first for Ms Martha’s Corset Shoppe. Christopher (my love and partner and head lacerer) was brought out of retirement to help put 23 of the most beautiful women in Atlanta into corsets for a “SHOOT OUT”. Just in case you don’t know what this is, allow me to fill you in. Photographers came with their copious gear (Lights, cameras, props, models came with costumes and make-up, Riggers bring all different colors of rope and weird ideas, and some people even brought motorcycles into the space. The space was a huge former textile mill. The lighting and nooks and crannies and old equipment makes for great shots.
The first part of the day was spent on education. There was a lecture on make-up. Ms Stormy Nitghtz gave everyone great instruction on camera make-up. Then it was time to socialize a bit and get ready for the SHOOT OUT.
The models went to dress and the photographers went to set up…
We put the models into the corset they have dreamed of owning for the shoot. My assistant got all the info ahead of time so we could organize. The models were very excited about getting to try on and be photographed in a Ms Martha corset.
Excited????? My first model left the lecture and said…. I want to be ready first.. So we put her in the new D RING, black leather with red leather piping… OMG She looked amazing and she KNEW IT.
I “GOT” the drift of how the SHOOT OUT works. The models get dressed up and the photographers get ready and then it is like a MEET AND GREET, only with rope, cameras and beautiful women to shoot. Most of the models have several “LOOKS” they want and the Photographers all shoot them.
I personally think everyone needs to “FEEL” a good corset. If everyone was able to feel the difference, CHINA and the crap they are dumping on the market would be put out of business. I guarantee you that not one of the women that wore a Ms Martha corset today will turn to EBAY for their corsetry needs. They will save their good money and get something good for them and that will stand the test of time.
I can’t wait to see the results of the SHOOT OUT…. A fun, productive time was had by all. Stay tuned for some great pictures…
THE VERY MOST IMPORTANT THING: Part of the entry fee and 20% of all corset sales goes to BIKERS for BABYS, MY CHARITY…. More to come on this later.
